This app collects the following data to provide its core features:

• Location data – Required by Android to scan nearby WiFi networks. GPS is never activated or stored.
• WiFi network information – Network names (SSID), signal strength, and channel data are scanned and displayed in real-time.
• App preferences – Settings such as auto-scan and notification preferences are saved locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Location permission is used solely for WiFi scanning as required by Android.
• WiFi scan results are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
• App preferences are stored on-device using Android SharedPreferences.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any user data to third parties.

4. Permissions

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / COARSE_LOCATION – Required by Android to scan WiFi networks.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_STATE – Used to read WiFi signal and network details.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – Used to detect connection changes for network alerts.

You can revoke permissions anytime via Android Settings → Apps → WiFi Access Analyzer → Permissions.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes.
